Ubud Arrival
Arrived in Bali today and headed straight to Ubud. The air felt warm and humid the moment I stepped out of the airport, with the scent of incense drifting from nearby offerings. The drive to Ubud was full of greenery—palm trees, small temples by the roadside, and locals riding scooters everywhere. When I finally reached the rice terraces, they were even more breathtaking than any photo I had seen. Layers of vibrant green hills stretched out into the distance, shimmering under the afternoon sun. It already feels like the perfect place to slow down and take everything in.
Monkey Forest
Visited the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud today. The moment I entered, monkeys were everywhere—on the pathways, hanging from trees, and even jumping onto people’s shoulders. The ancient stone temples hidden inside the forest created a mystical atmosphere, especially with the light mist drifting between the trees. A local guide explained that the area is both a spiritual temple complex and a protected conservation zone. At one point, a curious monkey tried to open a tourist’s snack bag, but a staff member quickly stepped in to help. The whole experience felt peaceful, lively, and surprisingly magical.
Miami Beach Arrival
The turquoise waters and Art Deco buildings welcomed me to Miami. Perfect weather! Took a stroll along the beach, felt the soft sand under my feet, and enjoyed the gentle ocean breeze. Spotted colorful lifeguard towers and stopped at a local café for a fresh smoothie.
Beach Day
Drove to the coast for some beach time. The black sand beaches are unique and beautiful.
