First Steps in New York

I arrived in the early morning and the city was already awake. After checking into my hotel near Times Square, I wandered through the streets without a plan. The noise, the lights, and the crowds made everything feel alive. I grabbed a bagel and coffee from a small deli and sat by a window watching people rush to work.

Central Park Afternoon

Later in the day, I walked to Central Park. Joggers passed by, musicians played near the paths, and the trees offered shade from the warm sun. I sat on a bench facing the lake and wrote a few thoughts in my journal. The contrast between skyscrapers and nature felt surreal, like two different worlds connected by a single step.
