I started my day walking along Hollywood Boulevard. Stars lined the sidewalk, but what impressed me most were the old theaters — their lights still glowing with a vintage charm. I grabbed an iced latte and people-watched for a while.

By sunset I was at Santa Monica Pier. The waves rolled in softly, the Ferris wheel lights flickered on, and the ocean breeze carried laughter and music. I sat on the sand watching the sun disappear behind the horizon — a perfect ending to the day.
